iRepairer ® terms and conditions

by submitting the repair booking form the customer acknowledges that have read and understood iRepairer laptop repair services’ terms and conditions and agrees to them and all applications.
the customer agrees that information supplied to iRepairer ® a division of eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd it is accurate.

warranty
all goods and components carry a three (3) months warranty from date of purchase.
no warranty or credit on any media or consumables goods.
all repairs workmanships carry three (3) months warranty.
repairs must be returned with original purchasing invoice.
faulty items must be returned with original packaging and invoice as proof of purchase date.
a 20% re-packaging fee will be issued for goods not being returned with their original packaging if an item must be credited.
faulty item older than 7 days will be repaired.
warranty void on physical damage, scratches, misuse or abuse, liquid damage, repairs or product modifications executed by unauthorized third parties.
we do not take responsibility for data loss on returned item. we strongly recommend to do backup of your device beforehand.
unit damaged by customers will not be credited or replaced.

rates
eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd will provide to the customer with a cost estimate or quote in respect of the service and /or product requested.
upon the customer being satisfied with and acceptance of the quote, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd through its appropriately authorised representative shall, verbally or in writing confirm its acceptance.

payments
the customer hereby agrees to be reliable to pay eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd the amount invoiced by its appropriately authorised and representatives. this account is due to eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd from the time the invoice is presented or sent via email to the customer subject to the content hereof, where applicable.

all transactions are cash on delivery (COD) or cash on collection (COC) only unless otherwise agreed upon.
credit and debit cards, cash notes and electronic transfer (EFT), no cheques accepted.
goods will only be released upon outstanding payment has reflected in full into eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd account.
please give 24 hours for the clearance if not transferred from FNB.
all goods remain the property of eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd until fully paid is received.
all payment for repair should be on cash on delivery, cash on collection or electronic transfer (EFT). device shall only be released once full payment of the job total due amount been paid and reflected into eServicefinder (Pty)Ltd account. exception is for 30-day account for our corporate customers. sign up as corporate customer.

eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
we do not take responsibility for any incompatibility problems.
all quotations will remain valid for a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of quoting.
all quotations are subject to availability of goods or services and subject to correction of good faith errors by the supplier, and the prices quoted are subject to change without prior notice.
eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd do not take responsibility for any data loss. backup devices beforehand.

returns
credit only – no refunds
goods correctly supplied by laptop repair services a division of eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd and returned by the purchaser will be liable to a 20% handling fee.
a reasonable handling fee will be charged on returned items if not returned within 48 hours.
no credit will be issued for components returned without original packaging and invoice.
specially ordered items are not returnable / returnable under any circumstances.
no credit or refund will be issued for special ordered items under any circumstances.
no credit or refund will be issued for software or licenses.
orders placed and not collected within 14 days will be cancelled and a handling fee may apply.

acceptance of repair service
the customer hereby agrees:
to the maximum extent permitted by law, laptop repair services a division of eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd, will under no circumstances be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from performance of any repair services, including but not limited to loss of , damage to, or corruption of data; or any costs of recovering, programs, or restoring any program or data stored or used with your product and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data stored on your device. eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for illegal, unlicensed software or media loaded onto device that is booked in for repair or serving.

assessment
eServicefinder offers a FREE technical diagnostic service before any successful repair or data recovery. there is no fee required to be paid on service booking. if you decide not to have any repairs or services after the device is diagnosed you don’t pay for technical assessment labour. you are covered by no fix no fee policy offered ONLY by SA’s most trusted laptop repair services the leading laptop repair specialists in cape town south africa.

guarantee
a three (3) month general repair warranty on workmanship done by eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd applies to all completed and paid repairs.
all warranties exclude water damage, physical damage, a burn device, broken or cracked screen and liquid damage done to the device or misuse after the initial repair.
warranty void to be enforced with DIY or third-party tampering with or opening of the device.
In servicing your device, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s technician team will undertake ONLY the requested service as described on the technical work order form and our service warranty will only cover that, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd warrants the high quality and efficient service will be performed in a professional and timely manner.

eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd specifically does not warrant that it will be able to (i) repair your device without risk to or loss of programs or data, and (ii) maintain the confidentiality of data. if any device should be damaged or lost while in eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s workshop repair centre, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s liability will be limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the affected component. otherwise, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s liability for any and all damage shall in no event exceed the payments received by eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd for services provided pursuant to these terms. the remedies set forth herein shall be your sole and exclusive remedies for any breach by eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd under these terms and conditions. eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd is not liable for loss or corruption of data or your confidential, proprietary or personal information or removable data. before you bring in your device for any repair service, you’re strongly recommended to make a backup copy of your data and remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information and removable media such as usb. external hard drive, dvd/cds or sd cards.

complaints
in the event of any dissatisfaction with eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd’s service or product provided, the customer should immediately contact eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd via support@iRepairer.co.za or call (021) 762-9900 where after eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd will endeavor to rectify any problems which may exist.

collection
devices not claimed or collected within sixty (60) days after the customer being notified by eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd that the device has been repaired, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd will consider your device abandoned. eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd will provide such notice to you at the contact details you furnished when you authorized the repairs. eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd may do with your device in accordance with applicable provisions of law, and, specifically, may sell your device at a private or public sale without liability to you to recover any money lost during the repair process. eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd reserves its right to keep procession for unpaid charges.
eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd shall ONLY release the device to the owner of the device or following the communication from a registered email. in the event of failure to present the technical work order form, eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to demand for such identity as considered fit and necessary before releasing the device.
we reserve the right to charge a holding cost on devices uncollected, one month after they have been booked in.
we reserve the right to charge interest and holding cost on devices repaired and uncollected, one month after invoice date.

turnaround time
I acknowledge that iRepair laptop repair services technicians will work on my device as soon as possible after I bring it or technician picked it up from my home or my office.
iRepair laptop repair services technicians will give me an estimate of when the repair or maintenance will be finished. if this estimate changes, the technician will notify me at the phone number or email address I provided to them.
delivery and performance times quoted are estimates and are not binding on the supplier.
we will repair your devices within 24 – 48 hours. (please allow 1-2 business days if carried or mailed to us).

customer
customer should assess his or her device’s physical condition when booking it in for repair at eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd. the booking form will identify areas of damage, scratches or dent (if any) on the device. upon collection, the customer must inspect the device thoroughly and immediately notify eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd of any damage prior to collecting the device from eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd premises. under no circumstances shall eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd or its employees take responsibility or be liable for physical marks or damages on the device noticed after the device left eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd premises and signed collection form and received in good order.
remember to make a backup of your device’s data, files before you send the device to us. we cannot be held responsible for any data or file loss on your device.
we value our clients and their feedbacks to help us improve our services.
these terms and conditions cover the service agreement between eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd and the customer and supersede any representations, warranties or assurances made by eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd at any time.
eServicefinder (Pty) Ltd is not responsible to any loss or damage during transit, and transit insurance is highly recommended when sending or returning the devices.
